We did it yesterday. Finland won the semi-final against the host country and favorite team Russia. The game was very intense, but we saw only few goals. The winning goal came suddenly at the last minutes of the first over-time by Finnish Mikko Koivu. Nowadays the over-time are played as sudden-death and the game ended [...]

Finland beats Sweden in the run for hosting the 2012 Ice Hockey World Chapionships. Finland has been the host country five times before, 1965, 1974, 1982, 1991 and 1997. A lot of nice news for Finnish hockey lately. Let’s hope it continues tomorrow at semi-finals against Russia.

This season UEFA cup has very strong spanish atmosphere as the Andalusian Sevilla and the Catalan Espanyol will face in the all-spanish final. The final is at Hamden Park, Glasgow on May 16th.
