UEFA cup:
This season UEFA cup has very strong spanish atmosphere as the Andalusian Sevilla and the Catalan Espanyol will face in the all-spanish final. The final is at Hamden Park, Glasgow on May 16th. Sevilla, the current cup holders, went to the finals by beating Osasuna 2-0 (2-1 agg). Espanyol crashed Werder Bremen first 3-0 at home and now 2-1 at away, so the aggregate result was grueling 5-1.

La Liga:
Barca did what was expected and beat Real Sociedad 2-0. Goals by Iniesta and Eto’o. Eto’o was offside so many time that with a little bit of luck he could’ve scored more goals. Anyways, this was enough or us we’re still at the top of the league.

Other big teams:
- Valencia won Deportivo 2-1 away and continues the run for the title as well.
- Zaragoza played a 0-0 draw at home against Racing and basically lost their chances for the title.
- Espanyol are a hot team at the moment with UEFA cup final and they beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 at home.
- The biggest match this round was Real Madrid vs Sevilla at Santiago Bernabeu. It turned out to be a historical match that Madrid won 3-2 after Sevilla was already leading 0-1 after the first half. 2 goals by Van Nistelroy, but Robinho and Guti were really the key players in this match.
