I apologize for neglecting the blog for this long. My sisters came to visit me last Tuesday and I’ve been pretty busy with keeping up with them. It’s nice to see them again. They’ve eagerly headed to the beach or shopping at every possible moment. I’ve tried to show them the city as much as possible, but they aren’t perhaps the sightseeing type yet.
Also I started to get sick on Saturday, again. I don’t what’s the problem, but I’ve been sick many times this year. The last two times it’s been after someone has visited me from abroad, so perhaps it’s just the different bacteria’s or something. Well, I’m hopeful that I’ll be feeling better tomorrow.
What has happened?
- Last week’s Monday was Sant Jordi. The day of the book and the rose. Almost every corner of the city there was someone selling roses. Las Rambles was full of tables filled with books. The street was crowded with people buying books. I liked Sant Jordi.
- Football world is getting excited for the end of the season. Milan played well in England and deserved the two goals in a match that ended 3-2 for Man.United. Kaka was brilliant and I think Milan has the upper hand for the second leg in Italy. Chelsea defeated Liverpool only 1-0 at home and I think they have more pressure at the second leg on Anfield tomorrow. No surprises in La Liga this week. All the major teams won their matches. Sad to that Barca won Levante only 1-0 at home. Disappointing game, but we got 3 points, so let’s not think about that anymore.
