Apple released the 8-core (octo) option in Mac Pro configuration and also updated the line of Cinema Displays by decreasing the price. Cheapest 8-core Mac Pro configuration is $3,997 when the cheapest 4-core system is $2,200. New display prices are 20" $599, 23" $899 and 30" $1,799. Still totally out of my price range, but some day, some day in the near future…

These are the US store prices. European prices are more or less the same in euros.
