Last weekends trip to Girona was cancelled. Supposedly because lack of interest. Really had to make something fun instead. Vueling has plane tickets from Barcelona to Valencia starting from 10€, so, what the heck, why not? We bought tickets to Valencia next Friday.

We’ll fly there Friday morning. Stay in a hotel for the night and fly back on Saturday. Only about 24 hours, but it should be enough time to see some Valencia. I’ve really looked forward to see some other cities of Spain and now I have the first possibility. I really don’t know anything about Valencia yet, so I’ll have to do some research.

What else, not much. It’s really surprised how cold it can get in here. It’s over 15 degrees and outside it doesn’t feel so cold. The weird things is that inside the apartment it’s freezing. I’m used to finnish atmosphere where it’s 20-25 degrees inside no matter how cold it’s outside. It’s really a necessary for to life in Finland, because without our modern building knowledge, we would freeze to death in the winter.

In here the apartments aren’t really prepared for winter. It can be almost 0 degrees at the middle of winter. Now it’s like 15 degrees and I’m already feeling cold most of the time. Although I haven’t used yet the radiators we have or the air conditioning which can be used as a heater also. So, some help is available.

Last weekend I watched football at my roommates parents place. Again they served me beer and very very good ham, I love it. Also they had some problems with their computer. So, again I have the same job here I had in Finland before. I’m the computer support person for the family. It’s no problem. It’s easy for me and I’m glad to something in return for all the things they’ve done for me. I just hope I’d able to talk better spanish. They can speak English, so we can communicate, but I’d really like to talk spanish. It just is still very hard for me. Especially the understanding. You still have to talk very slow to me. I want to my spanish to better, but I’m just lazy to do much exercises or anything, so perhaps it’ll get better while time elapses.
